I am using an older version of Microsoft FrontPage to create these pages and as such there are a few odd results from internal routines that it provides.

  • I have turned on field validation so that you can not complete the survey without filling in the items marked with a *.

  • If you miss one or more of the required items, you will be presented with a screen that lists what you are missing.

  • Just click the "OK" prompt to make your correction.

  • You will also be presented with a screen when you successfully complete the form. This screen will list all of the data you provided.

  • If you look carefully, you will see if you made any mistakes.

  • If you made a mistake, just use the "back to the form" link to return to the data entry page, make your corrections and re-submit the data.

  • I will get both submissions, but I will just discard all but the last one, so your data will be complete and correct.

  • If the information is correct, just select the "back to the main page" link and visit the other pages.

  • When you get to the VIN field, you must first DELETE the characters you are replacing to make room for your correction.

  • You can do this by "selecting" (blocking)  the area to edit and typing over the data or by physically deleting the portion and re-entering it..

  • This is the same for the other questions that have answers already entered. I put in a default value because the majority of cars will have the default configuration and won't need to be changed.

  • Rims seem to be a constant discussion area so I added that as a bit of information we would like to know.

  • If you don't have a "stock" exterior color, just select "Other" and add the details in the "other changes" field at the bottom.

  • REMEMBER to "Submit the FORM". You don't want to waste all that effort!

  • Please take a nice picture of your car and save it with a size of 640 x 480 pixels.

  • It works best if it a LANDSCAPE picture: going from left to right or right to left.

  • Crop out any excess background so the shot is really showing off the car.

  • You can send the photo to PHOTOS and I will add it to the gallery with your serial number identifying it to others.

  • If you have problems, you can always send me an email HERE
